"Worst experience I have ever had. The office staff lacks experience and knowledge in the insurance industry. They fail at submitting paperwork accurately, the office staff have no oversight so they constantly make errors with professional documents regarding your policy, they promise and don't deliver. If you sign up with State Farm, do not go to this office. Their manager, Devon Hudson, does not care how the office is run and does not address complaints at all. He, Devon Hudson, will allow a situation to continue forever without rectifying it and it appears he just doesn't care what goes on at the office level. He is dismissive and unhelpful. There is no follow up. As a manager, he should be able to identify the problem and come up with a solution, reassign the task, or even do it himself. No, he just ignores it. I want to give the name of office staff who fail at their duties but I feel the problems at this office are the manager or owners responsibility. They should offer training to ensure work is being done properly. I have experienced mishandling of my policy documents resulting in loss of business relationships and loss of coverage at times, I have never been told there was a problem on my end and all of the mistakes that have been made or at the office level, there is a lack of transparency and misleading information resulting in unexpected complications, I have experience billing issues which was the office fault but resulted in me paying in full an annual premium because there was an error in my monthly billing. It had been an ordeal to get anyone to take responsibility and correct the mistakes. Overall, my experience was frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking reliable and responsive insurance services They need to significantly improve their customer service and policy and document handling processes There are too many other State Farm offices. Any quote you get is from underwriters so if you have to choose where your policy will be whether it be auto, home, life or business....Run Away from the State Farm Devon Hudson office in Decatur on Flat Shoals Pkwy. Choose somewhere else!"
